Actors’ Days out of Days Report

This report makes it possible to visualise the characters’ and actors’ scheduled days out of days in the project according to the shooting schedule built by the first assistant director.

To open the “Day out of days: actors” report, follow the relevant link in the “Reports, analytics” menu.

The page displayed on the screen will show a table specifying the dates displayed horizontally, and the names of characters and actors portraying them displayed vertically.

To the right of each character’s/actor’s name, you will see the total number of the shooting days involving the actor in the project over the selected period.

The busy days will be highlighted in green and marked with a ‘plus’ sign by the system. From the report, you can proceed to the call sheet for a specific day when a specific actor is employed. To do so, click on the “plus” icon in the desired cell.

Please note that if the actor is employed in two units on the same day, which essentially means that such actor is employed in two shooting days, then such day will be treated as a single working day (single shooting day) in this report.

You can filter the table by specifying the relevant range of dates, episodes, role type, names of the characters or actors whose days out of days will be shown in the table.

To go to the following or previous month, use the control tool in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

There is another control tool for months in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, that gives a better visualisation of the actors’/characters’ work load – the higher the number of shoots in a specific month, the more areas of the column become colored.

You can export the “Day out of days: actors” report. To do so, click on “Export” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and save the file on your PC. The file to be exported will contain the same data as the data shown on the screen.
