Off-Balance Items
Off-balance items are displayed under the final row of the cost estimate and are usually calculated in % of its amount. The most common example are general studio expenses and unforeseen expenses.
To add an off-balance item, click Add Item on the Cost Estimate page and select Add Under Total.
You will see a window where you can enter the item name and calculation formula. For example, if you want to calculate 3% of the total amount of the cost estimate (including the Commission Fee), select Fixed Amount (cost type) and enter the formula TOTAL_FC * 0.03 (where TOTAL_FC is a system variable) in the Amount field.
The Total row will display the total amount for the cost estimate and off-balance sheet items.
